Nurses are the heart and soul of Alameda Health System’s (AHS) health care team. We thank our more than 1,800 dedicated nurses and express our deepest gratitude and admiration for the incredible work they do every day.
Nurses are present during patients’ and their families’ most challenging moments, providing comfort, support, and quality care. Their tireless efforts often go unnoticed, but their impact is immeasurable.
Nurses have chosen both a calling and a career and their expertise and compassion bring hope, strength and healing to each patient no matter where they are in their health care journey.
AHS appreciates and honors nurses all year long but especially during Nurses Week, May 6 through May 12, where we held special celebrations throughout the system.
